Tina doesn& x02019;t stop to talk to anyone on the way to school.
She has a crocodile in her pocket. And that& x02019;s a very, very tricky business! The teacher has asked them to bring their favourite animal to school, but a classroom is not the right place for wild animals. Tina and her friend Bastian will manage to make their favourite animals live and be happy in their natural habitat with their imagination and some coloured pencils. A funny and surprising story told with cheerful and suggestive illustrations. Through Tina and Bastian& x02019;s friendship, we will learn about the power of imagination. A story to discover that it is possible to think differently and that it is worth thinking outside the box for a good cause. Biografía del autor:
Pato Mena (Santiago de Chile, 1980), escritor e ilustrador de literatura infantil y cómic, suma varios títulos entre colaboraciones y obras integrales. Sus libros se han editado en España, Chile, EE.UU., Francia, Italia, Argentina, Corea, China, Japón y Macedonia. En 2022 obtiene por segunda vez en Chile el Premio Nacional de Literatura Infantil, Marta Brunet (Primera Infancia) por su libro Onsen. ¿Qué hacen los monos? En 2020 es seleccionado por la Fundación Cuatro Gatos (EE.UU.) junto al Grupo de investigación (LIEL) de la Universidad Castilla-La Mancha, como uno de los 25 autores iberoamericanos significativos del libro álbum actual. Sus obras ganan numerosos premios y en 2016 es distinguido por la Junior Library Guild Selection de las bibliotecas públicas de EE.UU por La Siesta Perfecta (Nubeocho). Asimismo, en 2017 obtiene el premio a Best Picture Book en los International Latino Awards, celebrados en Los Angeles, EE.UU. Actualmente vive y trabaja en Barcelona.
