Biografía del autor:
John Michael Green nació en Indianapolis en 1977. Se graduó en Lengua y Literatura Inglesa y en Estudios Religiosos en El Kenyon College. Tras empezar carrera en el mundo editorial como crítico y editor, publicó su primera novela Looking for Alaska en 2005, que le valió una medalla Printz y lo situó en el top diez de mejores novelas juveniles. Sus siguientes trabajos, An abundance of Katherines (2006) y Paper towns (2008), le han convertido en uno de los autores más reconocidos del género novela juvenil y crossover. Ha sido galardonado con el premio de honor Printz, el Premio Edgar, y dos veces finalista del Premio Libro del LA Times.
